PARKER F. JEFFREY. M.D.
Parker F. Jeffrey , M.D., has been affiliated with Spine Sports & Occupational Medicine PC since 1998. Dr. Parker possesses more than 48 years of diverse medical experience and is currently an Internal Medicine Specialist in Southfield, Michigan, where he has a private practice that focuses on internal medicine and pulmonary disease.
Dr. Parker graduated in 1969 from Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, with a Medical Doctor degree and completed a Department of Medicine Internship, with Wayne State University–Harper Hospital, Detroit, in 1970. He performed his medical residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and received a Pulmonary Division Fellowship from Lahey Clinic in Boston. He earned a Bachelor of Art degree from Michigan State in 1965.
Dr. Parker is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Pulmonary Medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine in Michigan, California, Florida, New York and Massachusetts. He is approved as a pulmonary evaluator in Daubert Hearings. He is affiliated with Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak, Providence Hospital in Southfield and Sinai Hospital in Detroit.
Dr. Parker is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, and a member of the Michigan State Medical Society and the Wayne State Medical Society. He has authored and co-authored a number of articles and educational materials covering the topics of “Diffuse Lung Disease” in the Practice of Surgery: “Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease,” “Bladder Cancer and Lung Lesions,” and “Pulmonary Dysfunction After Unilateral Percutaneous Cervical Cordotomy” in the Lahey Clinic Bulletin; and “P.I.E. Syndrome” in the Sinai Hospital Bulletin.
